Farming of tomatoes in Kenya in a Greenhouse.

The farmers in Kenya are embracing the Greehhouse farming technology with great hope of changing their lives and improving food security in their homes and whole community as well. The structure above is under construction, whereby after its completion the planting of crop such as: Tomatoes, Kales, Strawberries and capsicums will be grown in side it.

  The construction has already been completed and drip lines for irrigation have also been fixed ready for grown crops mainly vegetables which takes a very short-time to mature and are ready for consumption in 75 days to be precise. Besides, the cost of maintenance a is low and do not require much labour during management period.  
The crops grown inside this Greenhouse kit are tomatoes which has been grown in local tailor made structures. Which are cheap and easily available.
